Landways named as Birmingham City Football Club’s first Official Women’s Partner for the 2024/25 season
Landways, the UK’s leading provider of integrated in-building digital and power infrastructure, today announces it has been named as Birmingham City Football Club’s first Official Women’s Partner for the 2024/25 season.
As the first company to be integrated into the BCFC Women’s Club Partnership programme, Landways’ sponsorship highlights the growth and empowerment of women in football, and a commitment of participation and support to the Birmingham City Football Club community.
As well as being integrated into the Partnership Programme, Landways will gain the branding rights to the Club’s Player of The Match social media content and an array of matchday advertising assets, raising the profile of Landways through the important medium of women’s football.
Landways has also been working with the Birmingham City owners and management team to improve the matchday experience at St. Andrews stadium by delivering new digital and power infrastructure and technology services, with more details to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Commenting on the partnership, Chris Smedley, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Landways, said “We are proud to become the first company to be part of the BCFC Women’s Club Partnership programme, particularly ahead of what will be an incredibly important and highly anticipated season. This partnership underscores our commitment to supporting women’s football, and Birmingham City FC shares our belief in significantly enhancing the matchday experience for all fans and supporters at St. Andrews.”
Sam Sherratt, Partnerships Manager at Birmingham City, added: “Having spoken in depth with Landways over the summer regarding the commercial options we have available for the new season, it was refreshing to hear the passion and the commitment shown by Landways to support and grow the exposure to the Women’s game. I look forward to working alongside the brand to bring this to life.”
