About Adams Park
Background
Wycombe Wanderers FC, rooted in community spirit and growing international recognition, entered a new chapter in 2019 when Rob Couhig became the club’s majority owner. His investment built on the Supporters Trust’s stewardship and aimed to strengthen the club both on and off the pitch.
Objectives
Rob Couhig engaged Landways to bring his ambitious vision for Adams Park to life. The project, carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic, focused on creating a superior matchday experience for fans by implementing a crystal-clear audio system, high-speed Wi-Fi, and enhanced CCTV safety features, all supported by a robust, future-proof digital and power infrastructure.

Infrastructure at Adams Park
Infrastructure
Landways patented Induct® cabling system, a full-fibre network and the UK’s first DC microgrid installed in a commercial sports venue were deployed at Adams Park. Core equipment has been centralised in our secure Central Data and Power Unit (CDPU) offering up to 3-hour battery backup for connected systems, up to 20% energy efficiency and eradication of surplus equipment and material use, driving sustainability and carbon emission reduction efforts.
Equipment is strategically deployed across the site using distribution points which provide structured housing to streamline installation, maintenance and upgrades throughout the life of the infrastructure.
Wi-Fi Connectivity
Landways full-fibre Pay-As-You-Grow Wi-Fi service connects over 100 access points and antenna across the stadium campus to provide 99% coverage of stadium seats, 20 hospitality boxes, 11 lounge spaces, 8 ticket gate areas and over 1000m2 of external coverage for fan zones.
The system supports the club’s adoption of Wi-Fi dependent services, including a digital ticketing system, staff and media connectivity, and electronic payment devices.
Digital Audio
The digital audio system uses Dante, an AVoIP service with millisecond perfect control to combat the challenges of audibility, speech clarity, music quality and volume in a challenging stadium environment. Delivering specified levels of speech and music quality throughout the grounds, precisely measured to give guaranteed levels of performance, the audio system enables highly customised control for fan entertainment and communication.
The audio system usability is enhanced for operations and hospitality groups with global and localised public address control, dedicated roaming and fixed microphones, localised touch screen controls and strategically placed audio input panels. By creating customisable entertainment experiences Adams Park becomes an attractive venue for new events for local businesses and groups.
Surveillance Cameras
Real-time, latency-free surveillance cameras support Chief Safety Officers and Control Room Managers to provide safe and secure stadium operation 365-days a year. Clear HD images aid stadium access management, crowd control, incident reporting and person of interest identification. The system complies with strict requirements set by both the EFL and the local council for ground safety and survivability in the event of an emergency.
Emergency Phones
Easy to identify emergency phones located around the stadium connect directly to the control room security team by simply lifting the handset – no dialling required. The system runs on its own virtual network inside the stadium following regulation requirements, without the need for an external phone line to work.
